The short answer
Pick Kling 4.0. It films all 19 seconds in one continuous take at 720p or 1080p, follows the timing of the original clip, and keeps its sound. Seedance is still offered and is cheaper at 480p, but it carries a risk you should know about before you spend credits: its safety system can refuse or quietly change faces that look like a real public figure.
Why Seedance is strict about real faces
Seedance 2.0 drew a backlash right after its launch in February 2026, when clips imitating famous actors spread online. The Motion Picture Association and the actors' union SAG-AFTRA criticized it, and ByteDance said it was strengthening safeguards against the unauthorized use of likeness. ByteDance's own launch note says real human portraits used as references need identity verification or prior legal authorization, and in China its apps went further, with keyword blocking, face matching and content review that refuse anything matching a celebrity, public figure or influencer.

What that means for your video
The meme began with famous college football coaches, and many people want to put a well-known face in the lead. On Seedance that is exactly what the filters look for. A photo of a public figure, or of an ordinary friend who happens to resemble one, can make a part fail, or come back with the face drifting toward a stranger so nobody recognizes the lead. Because Seedance films the video as two parts (13 s + 6 s), either part can be the one that trips the filter. Failed parts return your credits automatically, but you lose the wait.
Why Kling 4.0 is our pick
Kling 4.0 runs through a different provider and does not go through Seedance's real-person face matching. It is also simply a better fit for this format: one take means no join at the sax cut, it uses the whole original clip for the cuts, camera and mouth timing so the singing lands on the sound, and it renders at 720p or 1080p. A Kling video costs 60 credits at 720p.
The rules do not change
Whatever model you choose, only upload adults who agreed to be in the video. Do not use photos of public figures, celebrities or athletes without their permission, do not present the result as real footage, and do not use it for ads or endorsements. Label it as AI when you post. Kling 4.0 is recommended because it makes better videos of you and your friends, not as a way around anyone's likeness rights.
